Your birth matters. My goal as your doula is to create an environment where you feel empowered throughout pregnancy, labor/delivery and into parenthood. My doula services will ensure your needs are met with emotional, physical and informational support as well as help guide and assist your partner to better support you. Research shows that women who use a birth doula are less likely to need Pitocin, less likely to have a cesarean birth, less likely to use any pain medication, and are more likely to rate their childbirth experience positively.

Hi, Im Kari a DONA International certified birth doula. Experience and education allows me to guide and comfort you during your pregnancy through postpartum. My own journey into becoming a doula was inspired out of my experience of giving birth and becoming a mother myself. This personal experience enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding, allowing me to honor and encourage you throughout your birth journey. I believe that knowledge is power. It's important that you have and understand your options, and that your choices are respected.
I welcome and support all families regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, sexuality, family structure, class, country of origin and gender.

- 2 in-person meet ups prior to labor
- 24/7 phone/text support
- Emotional and informational support
- Continual in-person support for the birthing person and partner from the onset of active labor until a few hours following birth
- 1 postpartum visit
